Maximum size: 4 cm

Lives on land directly by the water.

The crabs are particularly active towards evening and start hunting in the dark.

They move very quickly across the beach in short distances,

after which they dig themselves in at lightning speed.

If they feel threatened, they flee into the water.

The crabs spend the day digging in their underground galleries.
