which they use to pinch off the tentacles
of their host anemone and feed on them.

Thor dicaprio
Dicaprio's anemone shrimp or Squat anemone shrimp
Maximum length: 1 - 2 cm
In a present study, a new cryptic species Thor dicaprio
was established for the western Atlantic populations previously labelled Thor amboinensis.
The new species differs from all other members by two differences in the colour pattern.
The conspicuous red and white banding of the antennal flagellum,
appears to be the characteristic of the new species.
