Thylacodes grandis
Grand coral worm snail
This species of snail builds a calcareous tube on solid substrates.
Due to their appearance,
they are sometimes confused with tubeworms of the family Serpulidae.
Like all worm snails, it feeds on microorganisms,
which it captures with mucus threads.
Threads are drawn in together with the microorganisms and eaten.
