Maximum size: 4 cm

Spherical shell with an opening that resembles a half moon.

They attack other shell snails by drilling open their shells with their acidic saliva

and then eating the soft parts.

Mostly nocturnal, I also had this one on a night dive, every time I shone the lamp on it,

it burrowed into the sand.
