Lomanotus vermiformis

Worm lomanotus

Maximum length: 2.5 cm

Maximum depth: 1 - 11 m

It feeds on hydrozoans, especially Macrorhynchia philippina.

Body shape: elongated.

It clings closely to the hydrozoans and attaches itself with a sticky mucus secretion.

So perfectly camouflaged that you can hardly recognize them even in photos.

This one was just changing places, otherwise we would hardly have spotted it.
